Is The Lucra L148 A Rocket Car?

lucra-l148When you think American-made automobiles, your mind is likely to default to Detroit. The Motor City has long had a reputation as the heartbeat of the US auto industry. But occasionally, another state will get in on the fun and push Tiger Country way beyond its limits. That’s what has happened with the Lucra L148, a carbon fiber bullet of a car that possesses a 4.7-liter V8 engine and acceleration not unlike the warp speed you see in Star Trek movies.

California is the home of this baby, and it’s a child worth being proud of. The Lucra L148 is capable of pushing it from zero to 60 miles per hour in a mind-boggling 2.5 seconds which competes with the Lamborghini Elemento. The body is sleek and menacing with a nice combination of smooth slopes and sharp curves. It’s definitely a major arrival on the domestic auto scene, and it’s only the company’s second release. Save the pennies, kids, because this one is worth your time.
